Home Children Newsletter Our Church Regular Events Weekly Service

Welcome to St. John’s this morning.  We hope you find our worship stimulating and rewarding.  We have a crèche and Sunday Seekers for children:  please ask the greeters if you need directions to the rooms where they meet.  If you are hard of hearing you may find it easier to use our induction loop by switching your hearing aid to ‘T’.  Tea and coffee are served in the hall after the service.

God who created all space and time,
who made the world we live in,
who filled it full of life and beauty,
  who declared it good.
  Thank you for abundant life.

You sent your son to feed our hunger,
  heal our sickness,
free us from the things that imprison us,
  declare us precious to you,
  transform our lives,
  Thank you for abundant grace.

  You pour out your spirit
  when we least expect it,
  lighting us up,
turning our weakness into the power of love,
  Thank you for abundant strength.

  Extravagant God,
give us open hands to receive your
abundance and open hearts to live
  generously, boldly and trustingly
  as you do.
  Amen.
